Tara Elise Thompson is a distinguished Advocate Attorney at Law and Certified Mediator and practices in the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Property Law and Family Law.
Tara obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of The West Indies with Upper Second Class Honours and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from Hugh Wooding Law School, with Merit. Ever pursuing professional development, Tara obtained a Masters in Mediation and Dispute Resolution (MSc), from the University of the West Indies, graduating with Distinction (summa cum laude) and was shortly thereafter certified as a Mediator.
Tara has acquired in-depth knowledge of the administration of justice from very early in her career, having worked as a Judicial Research Assistant, for two esteemed Judges of the Supreme Court in Trinidad and Tobago, for several years. In so doing Tara developed her legal research skills, often assisting with writing landmark judicial decisions.
As her career evolved, Tara took up employment as Advocate Counsel with the Legal Aid Department, a position which perfectly married her passion for advocacy and her keen interest in public service. During her tenure as a Public Defender, Tara has been lead Counsel in dozens of high-profile jury trials before the Supreme Court, with an unblemished record of victories.
Tara is the consummate dispute resolution practitioner and offers her clients the benefit of her considerable trial and court experience as well as her negotiation skills and expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution, being a certified mediator.

Joel Roper obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from the University of London and his Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Hugh Wooding Law School.
Joel’s areas of practise are Commercial Litigation, Company Law, Property Law, Wills and Estates and Family Law. Among Joel’s clients are several leading state agencies, government bodies and corporations in Trinidad and Tobago and elsewhere in the world.

Justin Leung is an Attorney-at-Law at Atlantic Law Chambers. Justin received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from University of London in 2014. After working as a paralegal for two-years at the legal department of a top Trinidad based law firm, he completed his legal studies at the University of Westminster in London where he received a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2017.
He was admitted to the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in 2018 and is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago and the Law Society of England and Wales.
Justin practices in areas of Corporate Commercial Law and Litigation, Debt Collection, Personal Injury and Conveyancing.
